Lots of exciting things have been happening since my last blog post. One of my favorite things includes teaching at the Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensive. These weeks that I have been immersed back in Ballet world have been some of the happiest since my move. I had the tremendous opportunity to teach not only Ballet Technique classes to a group of eager elementary school aged children, but also was able to share some partnering work, variations, choreography, and a bit of Pilates.

Having this teaching time reminded me what exactly it is that I truly love to do, which is teach. Especially working with young dancers. Obviously by the end of the week there were a few that I was ready to not see for a few days, however it reminded me how lucky I am to be where I am in my life. I am able to not only do what I love, but make a living doing just that.

One of my clients mentioned in one of our first sessions together, "Chris, you just have to do what you love. Don't make any excuses, if it makes you happy do it!"

I hope you are all able to take the time to do the things you love.
